There is none Good, save One that is God

I will try and share these messages in this blog as I receive them from brother Femi. 

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ,

“And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, GOD”. As the year change over from 2018 to 2019 the wishes that I sent to Family members, Brethrens, Friends and everyone was “As the year 2018 gets to a close, everyone plays it safe and wishes each other beautiful good things irrespective of their believes or faith, even those that do not believe in GOD also wishes good things not fully understanding what Good stands for (as they can never wishes one and another evil things), of which few people in this Earth do, as Good is Our LORD GOD Almighty and only Him His Good”.

A friend of mine that believes everything just appeared and not created by GOD took very offensive at my message as he could not understand and felt very bad personally as how could I say all good things are from GOD. The Holy Bible in the books of James 2:19 said “Thou believest that there is one GOD; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble”. So how could a man that is created lower than the angels (Psalms 8:4-5 “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour”) say to himself or to others that there is no GOD? To be able to understand and be able to answer this question, we need to go back to the battle going on in the mind of every man; “And the LORD GOD commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 *But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil*, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Gen. 2:16-17). 

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD GOD had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath GOD said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, GOD hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For GOD doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Gen. 3:1-5). Adam ate the fruit of the “Knowledge of Good and Evil”, so both these knowledge of good and evil are in born in the heart of every man and woman, with the devil fighting for the evil to take priority. In the subconscious mind of man, he wants good, but due to the evil nature of man, he seeks good through evil means or ways!

Our LORD Jesus Christ is the clone and the visible image of the invisible GOD that is GOOD and to seek good, there is only one way to good as “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). Looking at our world, everyone wants good, but how or through what ways? Both rich and poor wants to live forever in good conditions, but through what means or ways are they seeking the everlasting life? The rich seek their long life through many evil means that many will never be able to imagine, for example some of these evil people believes that drinking constantly the blood of young children extend their life; some believe constantly bathing in the blood of young ones, their skin will refuse to age; some of the 1% that controls the power in this world believes that sleeping with children (babies) in unbelievable pains, that the experiences extend their lives on this earth! On the other hand, the poor hopes that once they are rich, they will be able to buy good health that will enable them to live long, which they believe that only the rich can afford, but unknown to many are what the so called rich are doing to in the wishes and hope of having same everlasting life! Some poor believe that they need to be rich to buy the church, which will in return get their life extension from heaven!

Brethrens, as we can see, one group of men want good and all that goes along with good through very evil ways (“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” 1Timothy 6:9-10). While the other group wishes to be rich and believes that through riches, they would live forever, but what is His Word said to all; “But thou, O man of GOD, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” (1Timothy 6:11-12).

With the eating of the fruit of the “Knowledge of Good and Evil”, the devil got the key of death (“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage” Hebrews 2:14-15) and with the death of Our LORD Jesus Christ and rose from the death on the third day, the devil lost the key of death to Jesus (I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” Rev. 1:18). He has both keys to Life and Death, He only can save man from the power of death and give man everlasting Life, no other ways can give man what he so desire to have, which is to live forever apart from our Saviour and Redeemer, Our LORD Jesus Christ and Himself said it; “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). No one can come to Good Almighty GOD the Father apart from through the Son Jesus Christ, never through the evil ways!

He told us in His Word “But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof” (Matt. 6:33-34). It is completely foolish for any man to say in his heart that there is no GOD! Despite all the power that the devil has, he cannot give anyone anything as he cannot create anything; all that is in this Earth were created by GOD. The so called scientist, the agents of the god of this world confirmed that man can only covert energy from one form to another form as he cannot create nor destroy energy! The Holy Bible said in Psalms 14, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no GOD. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek GOD. 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD. 5 There were they in great fear: for GOD is in the generation of the righteous. 6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge. 7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israelshall be glad”.

Salvation in Jesus Christ is so complete, that when we stand one day before GOD after we have won the battle against the devil lies, we would stand as though we never sin, our sins would be removed from us as far as west is from the east. If you ask Him what are my sins, what I have done badly in my life? He will reply you that He cannot remember. We would never feel like nothing when we are with Christ, we would be Sons and Daughters of GOD, free agents, but in obedience and submissive to Him by our choice because of His Character. If we can understand that, what life we would have, what kind of Excellent Relationship we would have with Our Lord GOD, we will not fall for all the lies and tricks of the devil and never seek good through evil ways. It is not easy and we were never promised that it going( to be easy, rather we must fight the good fight of faith to the end, even to death! “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of GOD. 20 Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen”.
